When Mary first came to Medina Exteriors & Remodeling | Simply Distinct Kitchens & Baths, she was looking to remodel the kitchen in her Akron home. It was outdated and she wanted to improve the look and functionality so that she could get enjoyment from her kitchen before putting her home on the market within a few years. She expressed to us that her determining factors in working with a contractor were comfortability, first and foremost, followed by quality materials and price.
After obtaining several quotes, Mary decided to move forward with Simply Distinct Kitchens and Baths. With our project management systems in place, we were able to turn Mary’s dream kitchen into a reality. We opened a wall, removed soffits, and removed everything in the kitchen, dining room, and living room to the subfloor. After reconfiguring the layout to optimize function, we installed new Armstrong luxury vinyl plank flooring, Bellmont cabinets, Corian quartz countertops, and a blend of subway tile with a linear mosaic MSI accent tile.
In the end, Mary achieved her goal of gaining a more open, brighter kitchen and will be able to enjoy this for years to come!
